Great flat road race - lovely running alongside the beach - marshalled well with lots of encouragement. All easy enough to find bib numbers etc - as it’s my first one I have nothing to compare to but if all like this, I’ll keep running…

Fun run by the sea
Nice out n back along the sea front. Enthusiastic and encouraging Marshall’s. Able to race or just run along and enjoy the scenery.
Great atmosphere- well worth travelling down for.

Great location to host a run, cafe's & a Sauna/cold plunge onsite.
Was my first time in the area and can only see it growing and growing. Fast course with a small cobbled section, if the weather was cooler it would be a PB course.

“No overtaking” rule in the running etiquette section could be replaced by “Overtaking on the cinder path should only be undertaken where it is safe and causes no inconvenience to other parties”.

Loved the run. Well organised and good fun. My only suggestion would be that there is water available at the finish.

Great atmosphere
Overall, I thought it was a really good event with a nice atmosphere and vibe.
I’ve done lots of 10k runs over the years, many organised by running/rotary clubs, and while they are always well run, they can sometimes feel a bit more formal and geared towards serious runners.
This event had a really nice relaxed feel and was welcoming for runners of all levels, while still being efficiently organised.
I was a little worried about the start and finish areas of the course being slightly narrow, but it was very well marshalled and there were no issues at all.
For an inaugural event, it was a great success.

Hi would have been nice to have more going on at the village live music groups stalls etc for the supporters
Also several races kids race etc veterans oaps
Make a whole day of it Fete type experience
Also would have been nice as a circular route not just put and back
Round two tree island along and loop back
But really enjoyed just a few improvements
Would do the race again and hope it grows
